A worthy investment.

The Independence Academy strives to keep tuition affordable for families as we deliver an excellent education and truly innovative experience. Scholarship dollars may be available to eligible students to help offset tuition costs.

Choice Scholarship Program

Indiana is committed to providing all children access to quality educational opportunities. The state’s Choice Scholarship Program—commonly referred to as the voucher program—provides scholarships to eligible students to offset tuition costs at participating Choice Schools like The Independence Academy. To qualify, families must satisfy household income requirements and student eligibility criteria.

ESA

The Educational Scholarship Account program, or ESA, provides students with disabilities access to the educational environment that best meets their learning needs. Parents of eligible students can use state-funded scholarship money to pay for the cost of private school tuition and fees, and certain educational expenses such as therapeutic services.

SGO Scholarship

The state of Indiana established a tax savings program to incentivize private donations to fund educational choice for families attending non-public schools. Needs-based scholarships are awarded to eligible incoming and current IA students from gifts made through our SGO (scholarship granting organization) designated to our school.
