K1ds Count Therapy

K1ds Count is a local pediatric therapy services provider offering ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, diagnostic testing and mental health services. The team of professionals works together to ensure an individualized, quality and comprehensive therapy experience for the child and family.


Spectrum of Knights

Spectrum of Knights is a fee-based program at Marian University that provides individualized support and guidance to students on the autism spectrum, to create a more inclusive campus environment for autistic students.

The program allows students to work one-on-one with Marian University’s Autism Coordinator who will guide and coach students from their first year on campus through graduation.

 

HANDS in Autism

Facilitated by Indiana University School of Medicine, HANDS in Autism is an integrated program focused on interventions for individuals with ASD. Their behavioral assessment and intervention strategies are evidence-based, individualized and culturally responsive—and effective and workable across many environments, including school and home.

HANDS in Autism’s interdisciplinary team of psychologists and educators collaborate closely with parents to boost confidence and effectiveness as they work with their child.

 

Screening tools

Mental Health America offers free, anonymous online screening tools to help individuals understand and learn more about their mental health. Screening is an easy way to determine if someone is experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition, which are real, common and treatable—and recovery is possible.


Suicide prevention

The 988 Lifeline is a network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as prevention and crisis resources.


Virtual calming room

Life can be overwhelming, anxiety-invoking and stressful. Sometimes, a healthy escape is needed. This web-based calming room was inspired by school counselors and social workers to help students access tools and strategies to manage their emotions positively using mindful techniques for relaxation.
